Curtis co-wrote, edited and produced Brother Tied in 1997. The film traveled to over 30 film festivals, including 1998 Sundance and Berlin, and won six esteemed industry awards. He studied at the University of Colorado, under avant-garde film legends Stan Brakhage and Phil Solomon.
