Robert Beaumont [Quattro]

Robert Beaumont was born January 1974 in Rochester, New York. Beaumont and sister Rebecca were raised by their mother, after their father died in a boating accident. Their mother worked at The Eastman Kodak Company, which sparked and supported his interest in photography.

Beaumont studied Literature and Photography at The University of Rhode Island in Kingston, then went on to study Film at University of Colorado at Boulder, where he met director of Quattro Noza, Joey Curtis.

Beaumont was apprehensive when Curtis approached him about the role of Quattro, as he didn't consider himself an actor. However, Curtis and Beaumont shared similar childhood experiences, including the early loss of a parent, so they worked on drawing from these experiences to build Quattro into a character that felt true to them both. Through a series of documentary-style shoots, Quattro and the world around him began to take shape.

Beaumont has worked as line-producer and cinematographer on various 16mm and 35mm films, and directed Battle of the Breaks, a DV documentary on break dancing. Beaumont currently resides in Denver, Colorado where he is developing a feature project to direct. He is also a partner in Wilyville, a creative/design firm.
