Fredric King is a director, producer, and social entrepreneur.

Through Fountainhead Films, Fredric was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for STREETS OF LEGEND, released by Lionsgate Films. The film was also the winner of Best Cinematography at Sundance. Fredric helped developed BLUE VALENTINE which received an Oscar nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role, Michelle Williams.  He launched the distribution arm of his company, Fountainhead Transmedia to spearhead the domestic and international sales of his cult film BIKE CLUB. Presently, Fredric is developing a miniseries based on

Latest Work

When not not making movies or tv, Fredric is making concrete in Haiti to aid in the rebuilding efforts. While directing the documentary HAITI REDUX, about the reconstruction efforts after the earthquake of January 12, 2010. Fredric recognized the significant potential impact of private sector investment in the construction material business in Haiti. In 2011 he conceived, formed and launched the Haitian American Reconstruction Partnership (HARP) to harness this potential to affect positive social change.
