Sheila Kolt is 45 years-old and her family means the world to her.

Everything started to make sense when she was diagnosed as a carrier of the BRCA 2 gene - all the women in her family have died from cancer. Sheila, a healthcare advocate, learned the stats, she had an 80% chance of dying too young to see her children grow up.

With knowledge and empowerment, we follow Sheila’s journey, talk to genetic oncologists and her doctors, as she shares her experience through intimate iPhone diaries that may help other women make the life-saving ‘previvor’ journey: 2 preventative surgeries and one reconstructive surgery to greatly reduce the possibility of developing cancer.
